Overview
The Mailchimp integration is a tool for collecting customer data and feeding it into Mailchimp, where you can use it for email drip campaigns, abandoned cart campaigns, and other marketing efforts. It allows operators to reach and market to their customers in ways that Singenuity doesn't currently offer natively.
Note (as of May 31, 2026): The Mailchimp integration is currently the only way to send an automated abandoned cart email to guests. This may change in the future as Singenuity's capabilities expand.
Before You Begin
To use this integration, you'll need the following set up on the Mailchimp side first:
An active Mailchimp subscription.
A Mailchimp audience created for your customer profiles to filter into.
Once those are in place, you're ready to connect Mailchimp to Singenuity.
Connecting Mailchimp to Singenuity
Navigate to manage.singenuity.com and select Settings in the top menu.
Click the Integrations tab in the left-hand menu.
Find Mailchimp and click the Setup button.
When prompted, log in to your Mailchimp account.
After logging in, select a Mailchimp audience for customer information to filter into.
Once you've selected an audience, the integration is active and ready to capture customer data.
How Customer Data Is Captured
When a customer reaches the checkout portion of the Singenuity booking flow and enters their first name, last name, email, and phone number, the system automatically captures that information.
If Mailchimp is connected, an audience is selected within Singenuity, and your Mailchimp settings are all configured correctly, that information is passed along to Mailchimp. From there, it can be used for marketing campaigns and abandoned cart automations.
Tip: Because data is captured the moment a customer enters their details at checkout, even customers who don't complete their purchase can be captured — which is exactly what makes abandoned cart campaigns possible.
Common Use Cases
Here are some examples of how operators put the Mailchimp integration to work:
Abandoned cart campaigns — Automatically follow up with customers who started a booking but didn't finish, encouraging them to come back and complete their purchase.
Email drip campaigns — Nurture customers over time with a sequence of marketing emails after they've booked or shown interest.
Post-visit follow-ups — Reach out to past customers with thank-you messages, review requests, or offers to book again.
Seasonal and promotional marketing — Use your growing audience to announce new activities, seasonal offerings, or special promotions.
Conclusion
The Mailchimp integration extends your marketing reach by funneling customer information captured at checkout directly into your Mailchimp audience. With an active subscription, a configured audience, and the integration connected, you can run drip campaigns, re-engage abandoned carts, and market to your customers in ways that complement Singenuity's built-in tools.
