The update to iOS 18 or Singenuity 3.32 is NOT mandatory.

With the upcoming iOS update, there have been some changes to how Blue Tooth connectivity works. This adjustment has been accounted for in the most recent Square SDK updates for the Square reader, which has been incorporated in the Singenuity release - 3.32 that will be available on Monday, 16SEP24.

If your organization auto or manually updates to iOS 18, it is critical to update to 3.32 as part of that process. Please be sure to allow for enough time to complete the entire process, both OS and Register. While the updates can go quickly, we strongly recommend no less than 2 hours of lead time. This includes: downloading 18, executing the update, allowing for the necessary reboots, getting Register 3.32 downloaded and applied and another device restart, and finally confirming all external devices reconnect.

If you update to Singenuity Register App 3.32 but do not update to iOS 18, everything will continue working as expected.

If you choose not to update to iOS 18 or Register App, everything will continue working as expected.
