Upon being created, each user is emailed their own 4-digit PIN that is required to complete important events in Singenuity, such as editing bookings or taking payments. This is how important events are kept secure and tracked.
Why is a PIN necessary if I need a password to log in to use Singenuity?
Even though you log in with a password to access Singenuity, many operations share computers/tablets amongst multiple staff members. The PIN makes certain that important events are secure and tracked.
Can I customize the PIN?
No. The 4-digit PIN is automatically generated so there's never any duplicates. You may, however, generate and send a user a new PIN as often as you'd like by going to manage.singenuity.com > Settings > Users & Permissions > Edit [select user] > Send an email with Reset PIN
PIN Events
Anytime a user is creating, editing, or saving an order, they will need to enter their PIN. This includes things like changing a status, taking a payment, adding a note, opening the cash drawer, adding/deleting a discount or promo code, resending the confirmation email, send waiver link, etc
