Overview
Singenuity connects directly with Viator through an API integration, so bookings made on Viator automatically appear on your Singenuity schedule. This article walks through the full setup: linking the two accounts, building the sellable activity in Singenuity, and completing the product connection in Viator.
Before You Begin
You will need:
An active Viator supplier account with access to supplier.viator.com
Your products fully built out in Viator — each product should have an activity date range, rates, days of the week, and time slots configured. If any of these are missing, complete them in Viator first.
Step 1: Select Singenuity as Your Connectivity Provider in Viator
Log in to your Viator supplier account and navigate to Account → Connectivity. In the Connectivity Details section, select Singenuity as your connection provider.
This generates the two keys you will need for the next step: your API Key and your Supplier ID. Keep this page open — you will copy both values into Singenuity.
Note: This step must be completed before anything else. Until Singenuity is selected in your Viator connectivity settings, the connection cannot be established.
Step 2: Create the Viator Affiliate in Singenuity
In Singenuity, go to Manage → Settings → Affiliates.
If Viator already appears in your affiliate list, click it, open the Configuration tab, and confirm the keys and settings below match.
If it does not, click New Affiliate and configure the following:
Name: Viator
Status: Active
Commission Type: Percent
API Affiliate: Select "Viator" from the dropdown
API Key: Paste the API Key from your Viator Connectivity page
Reseller ID: Enter 1000 (this value is always 1000)
Supplier ID: Paste the Supplier ID from your Viator Connectivity page
Taxes: Select the applicable taxes
The remaining settings can be configured to your preference
Click Save.
Step 3: Gather Your Product Details from Viator
Go to your Products page in Viator, click Manage on the product you want to connect, and open Schedule & Prices. Take note of the following — you will copy each of these into Singenuity:
Product Code (for example, 12849P1)
Option Name and Option Code (for example, "Zipline Tour" and TG1)
Date range, days of the week, and time slots
Pricing for each rate
Step 4: Create the Sellable Activity in Singenuity
Navigate to Manage → Settings → Affiliates, open the Viator affiliate, and go to the Sellable Activities tab. Click to create a new experience and configure:
API Affiliate Activity ID: Paste the Product Code from Viator — this is what ties the Viator product to Singenuity
Activity Name: Copy the activity name from Viator
Rates: Select which of your rates can be sold through Viator (for example, Adult and Child)
Price: Enter the price you want reported in Singenuity (see the note below)
Pricing note: The price entered in Singenuity is not pulled from Viator automatically — it is what your Singenuity reports will show as received for each booking. Because Viator collects payment from the guest and pays you directly (typically monthly, less their commission), many operators enter the net amount they receive from Viator rather than the guest-facing retail price. Either approach works; just be consistent so your reporting matches your bank deposits.
Rate classes: Each rate in Singenuity must be assigned to the matching Viator rate class (Adult, Child, Infant, Senior, etc.). For example, your Adult rate should be set to the Adult rate class and your Child rate to the Child rate class. This is how Viator knows which price applies to which guest type.
Step 5: Add the Option and Build the Schedule
Click Save, then click Edit on the newly created activity and open the Schedules & Pricing tab.
Click + Add Option and enter the Option Name and the Option Code from Viator. This is also where you would mark the option as private, if applicable.
Set the start date (typically the day you are completing the connection) and, if your Viator product has one, a matching end date.
Under pricing, mark which rates are sellable, choose the days of the week, and create time slots that exactly mirror the days and times configured in Viator.
Important: Every time slot must exist as an open, bookable time on your Singenuity schedule. Time slots that are hidden or set to "Call to Book" are treated as closed by Viator and will prevent the connection. If you want to offer certain time slots only on Viator, set them up as a separate option or activity.
Step 6: Complete the Product Connection in Viator
After saving your setup in Singenuity, allow about 20 minutes for the systems to sync. Then, back in Viator:
Open the product and click Product Connection (it will show as "Not Connected"), then click Edit.
Select the matching activity — if multiple appear, confirm the Product Code matches the one you are connecting.
Select the appropriate option. A time table will populate at the bottom showing whether the Viator time slots match the ones in Singenuity. Viator will flag any time slots that exist in one system but not the other.
If everything lines up, click Save.
Troubleshooting Connection Errors
The product connection step is where most errors occur. If you run into one:
Go to Account → Connectivity in Viator and click Refresh.
Wait 5–10 minutes (occasionally up to 30), log out of Viator completely, log back in, and retry the connection steps. Fully logging out is an important part of this process.
Confirm that every time slot has at least one available opening on your future Singenuity schedule. If even one of the times you are connecting has no availability, the entire connection will fail.
Conclusion
Once connected, Viator bookings will flow into your Singenuity schedule automatically.
