Written by Tyler Tanner

Overview

The Tips Report shows you all tips collected across your activities within a selected date range. It can be broken down by individual order and guide assignment, making it useful for tracking and distributing tips among your staff.

Note: The Tips Report is a living report. It reflects the current state of orders in real time. Canceled orders are not included.

Accessing the Tips Report

Navigate to manage.singenuity.com and select Reports in the top menu. In the left-hand sidebar, select Tips under the Sales Reports category.

Filters & Options

  • Date Range: Select the date range you want the report to cover.

  • Appointment Date vs. Order Date: Choose whether the report is based on the date of the activity appointment or the date the order was created. Running by appointment date will show all tips attached to activities occurring on those dates.

  • Activity: Filter the report to show tips for a specific activity.

  • Display Mode: Choose between Summary or Details mode (explained below).

  • Export: The Tips Report can be exported to a CSV file.

How Tip Splitting Works

When a tip is left on a time slot, it is distributed among the guides assigned to that slot:

  • One guide assigned: The full tip amount goes to that guide.

  • Multiple guides assigned: The tip is split evenly between all assigned guides.

Important: The system cannot differentiate between a human guide and a vehicle assigned to a time slot. If a vehicle has been added as a guide on the manifest, the system will attempt to split the tip between the vehicle and any human guides assigned. Be mindful of this when assigning vehicles to time slots where tips may be collected.
