This article covers how to use the Merchandise Report in Singenuity, including its filtering options, display modes, and a breakdown of every column available.

Written by Tyler Tanner

Overview

The Merchandise Report gives you visibility into your merchandise sales and current inventory levels. It has two distinct modes — Sold and On Hand — allowing you to track what has been sold within a date range as well as what stock you currently have available.

Note: The Merchandise Report is a living report. It reflects the current state of orders in real time. Canceled orders are not included.

Accessing the Merchandise Report

Navigate to manage.singenuity.com and select Reports in the top menu. In the left-hand sidebar, select Merchandise under the Sales Reports category.

Filters & Options

  • Date Range: Select the date range you want the report to cover (applicable to Sold mode).

  • Appointment Date vs. Order Date: Choose whether the report is based on the date of the activity appointment or the date the order was created (applicable to Sold mode).

  • Category: Filter the report by merchandise category. Categories are assigned when merchandise items are created.

  • Display Mode: Choose between Sold or On Hand mode (explained below).

  • Export: The Merchandise Report can be exported to a CSV file.

Display Modes

Sold Mode

Sold mode shows all merchandise items sold within the selected date range. Each item gets its own line, and variants (such as different sizes or colors of the same product) are listed individually.

Columns:

  • Product Name — The name of the merchandise item.

  • Product Category — The category the item belongs to.

  • Variant — The specific variant of the item, if applicable (e.g., size, style).

  • Color — The color of the variant, if applicable.

  • Cost Per Unit — The cost of the item to the operator.

  • Discount — The discount applied to this item, if any.

  • Quantity Sold — The number of units sold within the date range.

  • Total Sales — The total revenue generated by this item within the date range.

On Hand Mode

On Hand mode shows your current inventory levels for all merchandise items. This mode is not date-range dependent — it reflects what is currently in stock at the time the report is run.

Columns:

  • Product Category — The category the item belongs to.

  • Product Name — The name of the parent product (e.g., "Animal T-Shirt").

  • Variant — The specific variant of the item (e.g., "Animal T-Shirt - Green").

  • Color — The color of the variant, if applicable.

  • Reorder Alert — The quantity threshold at which the system will alert you to reorder this item.

  • SKU — The SKU number assigned to the item, which corresponds to its barcode.

  • Quantity On Hand — The current number of units in stock.

  • Unit Cost — The cost of a single unit to the operator.

  • Total Cost — The total cost of all on-hand units (unit cost × quantity on hand).

  • Published Price — The price customers pay for this item.

  • Total Published Price — The total value of on-hand inventory at the published price (published price × quantity on hand).

Conclusion

The Merchandise Report helps you stay on top of both sales performance and inventory levels for your merchandise operation.
